Do you want to be part of a leading research institute that contributes to the sustainable infrastructure of the future? As a Product Auditor at RISE, you will have an independent and interesting job with responsibility for on-site inspections at manufacturers and importers, as well as being involved in testing and certification of plastic pipes, plastic pipe products, or water and wastewater products. The role offers great variation and freedom with regular travel both nationally and internationally. You can work from home or from one of our offices in Gothenburg or Borås.

About us The Infrastructure and Concrete Construction department conducts research and performs assignments in the areas of infrastructure, construction, and building. The department includes the Infrastructure and Development unit, where this role is located. We offer services in impartial testing, inspection, and certification aimed at verifying that products meet specified requirements, primarily in the areas of plastic pipes, plastic pipe products, or water and wastewater products. Within the unit, we are 25 dedicated engineers and technicians, and since we are experiencing continued strong demand for our services, we certainly want to continue to grow.

About the role – Plastic Pipes & Water Products In the position of Product Auditor, you will be offered a very free and independent job. Customer relations are in focus, and practically speaking, this means that you will regularly conduct inspections at manufacturers, wholesalers, or importers of plastic pipes, plastic pipe products, or water and wastewater products that want to meet the Nordic market's product requirements. During visits, you will ensure that the customer meets the certification requirements. You will help our customers understand how we can assist them in staying updated on existing and upcoming requirements. You will also contribute to new business by proactively establishing new customer relationships and marketing and presenting our offerings to new and existing customers.

You will visit many different companies and gain insight into their operations, providing you with great variation. You will have significant freedom and responsibility to manage and plan your visits. You will always have colleagues in the team and your immediate manager just a phone call away for support, advice, or anything else. Several of our auditors work from their home office, so the location for the position is flexible. To have access to our offices on days when you are not visiting customers, it is an advantage if you live near Gothenburg or Borås. Please note that this position may require a security clearance, either later in this process or in the future.

Who are you? We believe that you have a post-secondary engineering education from a university, vocational school, or equivalent in a relevant field and that you have technical competence and a genuine interest in the products related to plastic pipes or plastic pipe products and water technology.

It is certainly an advantage if you have experience with relevant standards and methods as well as certification and accreditation. If you also have experience in writing proposals and enjoy driving customer projects and business, that is an extra plus. You have a high level of IT proficiency and easily adapt to new processes and routines. Since travel is a natural part of the job, you need to have a B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

To be successful in the role, you are social and enjoy independent work, where you plan your days and manage your time. You are structured and meticulous, focusing on quality and good customer relationships. You have the ability to plan your work effectively and take responsibility for your assignments. Your technical understanding is high, and you are not afraid to tackle tasks you have not faced before. You thrive in customer interactions, are open and confident in yourself, and are keen to maintain clear and relationship-building communication.
