Finance Assistant Wanted for International Flooring Company
Do you have experience as a finance assistant and are looking for a Nordic role with broad responsibilities? Our client, an international company in flooring products, is seeking someone who wants to contribute their knowledge and take initiative in an engaged team.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a central role in supporting both Swedish and Nordic operations in their daily financial tasks. You will work closely with a smaller team and have broad responsibility over the accounts receivable processes, from invoicing to follow-up and improvement work. You will actively contribute to ensuring effective financial flows. Working hours are; 38.75h/week Tue-Fri 08:00-16:30 (every Monday 07:00-15:30 and rotating every 3rd Friday 07:00-15:30). The company sees this as a long-term recruitment starting with a 6-month probationary period.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
The role involves a broad spectrum of tasks within accounts receivable, including handling payments, invoicing, credit assessments, and process improvements. You will monitor and report key performance indicators and collaborate closely with internal departments to optimize the order-to-cash flow.
- Manage incoming payments and ensure accurate updates of AR accounts.
- Handle invoicing and financial billing, including e-invoicing platforms.
- Monitor and resolve unclear or disputed transactions and manage credit stops and perform credit assessments.
- Drive automation and digitization of AR processes to reduce manual workload.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance to ensure smooth processes from order to payment.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a recognized post-secondary education in finance.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and the Office suite, especially Excel.
- Experience working as a finance assistant.
- Enjoys and sees yourself working long-term in the role of finance assistant.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Available immediately or within a month.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience working in a Nordic role.
- Experience with e-invoicing platforms (e.g., Peppol, Strålfors).
