We work together with authorities, municipalities, businesses, and other actors focusing on Västra Götaland County and our 1.7 million inhabitants. The County Administrative Board has a broad operation and a very important role in several areas of society. This includes the highly relevant challenges of regional growth, implementing the green transition, developing civil defense, and nurturing democracy.
The County Administrative Board is a regional government agency with about 1,000 friendly and competent employees. We operate in several locations in Västra Götaland but also throughout Sweden as we are responsible for the IT operations for all county administrative boards.
About the job
We are looking for a new colleague for a part-time position. The job is suitable for you who are studying the personnel and working life program or equivalent education and want to apply theory in practice during your studies.
Your initial tasks will involve participating in the daily work of HR administration with a focus on recruitment. You will work in various parts of the recruitment process, from publishing job ads to writing hiring decisions. Questions and ideas will be discussed directly with colleagues in the HR team. We who work here are HR partners, recruitment specialists, and HR administrators.
You may gradually take on more responsibility and thus contribute to development work regarding routines and working methods.
There are good opportunities for remote work part of the time.
About you
We are looking for someone who is currently enrolled in the personnel and working life program or equivalent (at least 60 approved higher education credits).
As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and structured. You are service-oriented, have the ability to listen to needs, and build trusting relationships. Collaboration is a natural way of working for you. You easily take on new tasks and can work independently with support from experienced colleagues.

It is an advantage if you have experience in recruitment and administrative work within the HR field.

Good to know
The employment will be established with support from the state agreement on fixed-term employment as a student employee. Therefore, you will be employed for one term at a time and for a maximum of four terms. You need to have the capacity to work approximately eight hours per week, planned by agreement.
