About the position Our team within Accounts Receivables handles GEODIS's customer receivables regarding cash collection, reminders, and credit limit applications. We work closely with our GEODIS team in India as some tasks related to accounts receivable are outsourced there, e.g., booking of payments. The work is process-oriented, and we work towards daily and monthly deadlines.

Main responsibilities in the role include:

• Continuous contact with customers and our internal organization regarding outstanding receivables

• Work with cash collection and handling of collection cases

• Assist with various questions related to accounts receivable (overdue reports, inquiries from auditors, etc.)

• Work to reduce DSO, minimize customer losses, and monitor credit limits

• Handle cases continuously according to our credit processes.

• Act as contact and support for the GEODIS team in India.

The position is a temporary contract starting immediately and extending until 2026-08-31. The location is at our headquarters in central Gothenburg, close to public transport, shops, and nice lunch restaurants. You have post-secondary education in finance or equivalent work experience in a finance department. We also see it as an opportunity if you have worked for at least a few years as a freight forwarder and want to continue your career in finance.

It is a plus if you have previous experience working with finance and accounts receivable. For the role, you need to have basic knowledge of Office 365, especially Excel. Swedish and English are used in daily work, so you need to speak and write both languages fluently.
