About the position The work in our Scandinavian accounts payable team consists of more process control and investigative work compared to traditional accounts payable roles, as all basic handling is outsourced to a GEODIS team in India.

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for optimizing the Accounts Payable team's common processes for the Scandinavian countries. In this role, you will have many points of contact with both internal and external parties, nationally and internationally. You will play an important role in supporting other functions with your expertise for effective invoice management.

In this role, you will work with the following main areas for Sweden, Denmark, and Norway:

  • Work in an electronic supplier invoice flow with deviation management and process analysis.

  • Act as a contact and support for the teams in India.

  • Support operations and department managers.

  • Assist in managing collective invoices and ensure correctly posted costs.

  • Contribute to developing and optimizing our processes through a good understanding of the business chain.

  • Assist in managing payments, reminders, and account statements from suppliers as well as contact with suppliers.

  • Assist in managing the electronic invoice flow for indirect costs.

Your profile We are looking for someone who has an interest in finance and wants to further develop your skills. We believe you have post-secondary education in finance or equivalent work experience in a finance department. We also see it as a possibility if you have worked for at least a few years as a freight forwarder and want to continue your career in finance.

You have basic knowledge of Excel, and if you have experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, and CargoWise One, it is a merit. It is positive if you are used to working in an international environment, as you will collaborate daily with colleagues around the world. Swedish and English are used in the work, so you need to speak and write both languages fluently.

You see the importance of good communication at all levels with both external and internal partners. Since the role is not a traditional accounts payable role, we see it as important that you are curious, flexible, and proactive.
