The HR and Communication Department supports the entire agency with operational and strategic issues within HR and communication. We take a holistic perspective with the needs of both internal and external stakeholders in focus. Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven communicator with an interest in both internal and external communication.

You enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously and have no problem with periods of high tempo with tight deadlines. You have a strategic focus but also enjoy working operationally.

You are used to working independently and take responsibility for driving your own projects and assignments. You collaborate broadly and ensure that the right competencies are involved at the right stage to achieve the best possible results.

Responsibilities

In the role of communicator, you are part of coordinating and driving internal and external communication at the agency. You contribute to developing and managing the image of HaV, providing communication support to other departments, and enhancing the communicative competence of the agency's managers and employees.

Your role includes:

• Analyzing, planning, implementing activities, evaluating, and structuring both internal and external communication that is of great importance to the organization.
• Working with support, advice, coaching, and planning of all types of communication issues for employees and managers within the agency.
• Being responsible for project management, planning, and implementation of events and seminars that the agency conducts or participates in.

Other tasks that all communicators participate in include:

• Some content production and development of primarily digital communication channels (web, intranet, and social media).
• Producing news articles and press releases.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least three years of communicator or journalism education at the university level. You have at least five years of documented experience in operational and strategic work equivalent to a communications strategist, or other work experience that we assess as equivalent.

You have:

• Documented experience in establishing, driving, and following up communication efforts in complex contexts.
• Experience in audience-adapted communication across multiple channels.
• Good digital competence and experience in communication in digital environments.
• Experience in change communication.
• Experience in project managing external events.

In addition to a very good ability to speak and write Swedish clearly, the assignment also requires very good knowledge of English.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in providing strategic communication support to managers or experts.
• Experience in web publishing and working with social media.
• Good understanding of how public administration and politically governed organizations operate.
• Experience in working with press issues.

You are confident in your skills and have the courage to drive issues forward even in complex contexts. At the same time, you are a team player who builds trusting relationships and can translate the organization's needs into clear and relevant communication. You have a holistic perspective in your assignment and a very good ability to communicate.

Conditions

The position is a permanent employment as a communicator. The Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management applies a six-month probationary period and individual salary setting. The salary range for the position is between 43,000 - 53,000 SEK/month and is based on skills in relation to the relevant competence for the position.

The starting point is that the work is performed in our modern premises in Gullbergsvass, Gothenburg, but there is an opportunity for remote work up to two days a week by agreement. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
