We are looking for an analytical and business-oriented economist with a strong sense of structure, quality, and financial control. You are meticulous, proactive, and confident in transforming numbers into insights that create value and strengthen decision-making.

About the assignment We are quickly seeking a full-time economist for our client in Mölndal for a consulting assignment via Bemannia. The assignment is expected to start immediately and last for at least 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Your responsibilities

As an economist, you are responsible for ensuring good financial monitoring with high quality and control in all processes. You work closely with the business and serve as a qualified support in financial matters, from ongoing monitoring to strategic analyses and decision-making materials.

• Prepare financial reports, analyses, and decision-making materials for management and operations

• Be an active support in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing work

• Conduct financial investigations and in-depth analyses

Your qualifications

• University degree in economics or equivalent education deemed comparable

• At least three (3) years of experience in a similar role

• Experience in qualified accounting and controlling work

• Previous experience in budgeting and year-end closing

• Good knowledge of the Office suite and Excel

• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Good system familiarity & experience with financial systems

Meritorious

• Experience in municipal finance

• Previous experience with systems such as Hypergene, Unit4 ERP, Agresso, and Proceedo
