Business Controller for Part-Time Assignment

SJR is looking for a Business Controller on behalf of our client for a part-time assignment of 40%.

Our client is a technology company in the manufacturing industry that is currently in a development phase. They have 7 employees and have recently moved to new premises in Bollebygd. They now need to strengthen their finance function with an analytical and structured controller. The desired start is at the end of March. The assignment is for at least 6 months.

About the Position

In this role, you will have a comprehensive approach to developing and structuring the finance function. Accounting and payroll are handled by an external agency, which means your focus will be on analysis, process development, and follow-up. You will work closely with the business and be an important support for management.

Your main tasks include:

• Review, develop, and structure the finance function
• Establish and improve internal processes and routines
• Evaluate and optimize system support, primarily in Fortnox
• Lead the monthly and quarterly closing together with the external agency
• Analysis, follow-up, and reporting to management and operations
• Support in issues related to inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, and after-sales
• Structuring of item registers and improvement of working methods
• Cash flow forecasts and analysis
• Handling issues related to international trade, currency, and VAT

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone with experience in controlling or financial work within the manufacturing industry. You are used to working closely with the business and thrive in a role where you can improve processes and create structure.

We would like you to have:

• Experience from manufacturing companies
• Good experience in financial analysis, follow-up, and reporting
• Experience in system development or optimization, preferably in Fortnox
• Understanding of inventory, purchasing, and manufacturing flows
• Experience in international business, currency, and VAT
• Experience from a publicly traded environment is a plus

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and communicative. You are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative. A driver's license (B) is required.
