Description

The mission of the Method Developer is to ensure high quality in the training initiatives of elderly care and to contribute to the continuous development of the organization's working methods in accordance with applicable legislation, national guidelines, and local goals.

The role will strengthen the competence of employees and managers and contribute to a safe, legally secure, and person-centered elderly care.

Responsibilities

As a Method Developer, you will be a key person in the work of improving and ensuring the quality of our initiatives. You will, among other things:

  • Plan, develop, and ensure the quality of training within elderly care
  • Ensure that training content follows:
    • Social Services Act (SoL)
    • Health and Medical Services Act (HSL)
    • Patient Safety Act
    • Work Environment Legislation
    • National Guidelines (e.g., National Board of Health and Welfare)
    • Evidence-based knowledge management
  • Conduct and lead training for employees and managers
  • Coordinate introductory training for new employees
  • Ensure documentation of completed training
  • Perform tasks in accordance with the care and nursing college action plan

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Higher vocational education or university degree deemed relevant by the employer
  • Experience in elderly care
  • Pedagogical competence/experience in educational leadership
  • Good knowledge of legislation in health and social care
  • Documented experience in quality and development work
  • At least three years of experience in a similar role

Meritorious:

  • Experience in project management or change work.
  • Knowledge of relevant methods, systems, or target groups.
  • Experience working in a politically governed organization.
  • Experience as a method developer/business developer.

A driver's license may be required depending on the nature of the assignment.
