Business Controller

Sector Alarm is in the midst of an exciting growth journey. We have clear ambitions to achieve further growth in the Swedish market - and now we want to strengthen the team with another experienced and self-driven Business Controller at our headquarters in Gothenburg.

About the role

As a Business Controller with us, you will be a close partner to both the management team and our various business areas. You will play a central role in creating insights that drive profitability, development, and smart decisions. You will be the one who translates analysis into action – and who helps the organization understand what the numbers actually mean. Since the role is new, it may evolve and take shape over time.

You will be part of our Finance team, which currently consists of one Business Controller and three accountants, and you will report to our CFO.

Your main responsibilities:

• Prepare reports and analyses that provide clear guidance to management and decision-makers
• Identify and drive performance improvement initiatives
• Monitor costs and key performance indicators and proactively suggest improvements
• Participate in monthly closing and the internal reporting process

Qualifications:

• Academic degree in finance or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in business controlling or similar
• Advanced Excel skills are a prerequisite and experience with Power BI is a plus
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
