About the Role

As an HR strategist, you will be part of the HR department with about 25 employees in various specialist areas and report to the HR manager. You will be part of a competent and collaborative team with good opportunities for collegial support and continuous learning.

We offer an exciting and developing role where you, together with the HR manager, have a strategic responsibility to shape, develop, and ensure the quality of work methods and processes within labor law, collective agreements, MBL, and union cooperation. The role involves providing qualified HR support in complex change environments and working closely with management and supervisors on both strategic and operational issues.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as an expert and ensure that the organization's HR processes comply with applicable laws, policies, and guidelines.
  • Provide advice, support, educate, and develop managers and HR colleagues regarding labor law, wage formation, and the wage process.
  • Conduct negotiations in collaboration with trade unions.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on trends and changes in labor law and wage formation.
  • Participate in and drive development work cross-functionally within Folktandvården and within the Västra Götaland region.

About You

To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have a structured and analytical approach to work. You possess stability and confidence in your skills and enjoy being a support for others. With a strategic perspective and the ability to pedagogically translate analyses into goals, you drive project and development work in a businesslike and methodical manner.

As a person, you are a stable team player with a very good ability to create trusting relationships. You can also handle resistance and complex interests and have a high level of integrity and good judgment.

For the Role, You Need:

  • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR or another relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in qualified HR work.
  • Very good knowledge of labor law legislation, regulations, and collective agreements in the public sector.
  • Be comfortable giving presentations and have a very good ability to communicate clearly and build trust both verbally and in writing.

Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have experience from competitive operations.
