Accountant at Vargön Alloys AB

The finance department at Vargön Alloys AB is now looking for an Accountant.

You will be part of a small but important team, where you will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to the development of our processes.

Your Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will work broadly with accounting and ongoing financial issues. Your main tasks will include:

• Journal/cash bookkeeping as well as incoming and outgoing payments
• Accounts receivable, payments, and payroll transfers
• Cost accounting
• Monthly and annual closing work
• Employer declarations and reporting of VAT and corporate tax
• Liquidity reporting and cash flows
• Handling of supplier invoices
• E-invoicing and some other invoicing
• Monitoring changes in accounting and tax areas

Who We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, we believe you are self-driven, meticulous, and enjoy working towards deadlines. You have good problem-solving skills, are unpretentious, and are happy to contribute in a team where collaboration is crucial.

We expect you to have:

• Post-secondary education in finance/accounting or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• Several years of experience in qualified financial work
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
• Good knowledge of Excel and other Office programs
• Experience in closing work and cost reporting

It is an advantage if you have experience with SAP or another larger business system as well as the financial system iScala. Furthermore, experience from working in an international context is also meritorious.
