NU Healthcare is part of the Västra Götaland Region and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area includes 280,000 residents. Together, we are about 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. About us

The communications unit consists of seven communicators and is led by a communications manager. We provide strategic and operational support to management and operations and collaborate closely both regionally and locally.

About the role

You will work closely with the operations and support managers, projects, and management in communication issues – from advice and planning to implementation and follow-up.

Examples of tasks:

• Plan and drive project communication
• Communication advice to managers and operations
• Content production for web, social media, and internal channels
• Campaigns, events, and larger communication efforts
• Press and media contacts as well as press releases
• Crisis communication
• Development of work methods, tone, and new formats

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university degree or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Experience in strategic and operational communication work
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in news work, media contacts, or press service
• Experience in holding training sessions, workshops, or driving change communication
• Knowledge in Optimizely, Adobe Creative Suite, photography, and film
