We are looking for an experienced and self-sufficient accounting specialist who can take over and be responsible for the tasks currently handled by an employee leaving the organization. The assignment will last for 4-8 months, depending on how the recruitment of a permanent solution progresses. At the end of the period, a handover will take place to the new employee.

The working hours will be 70-100% and will be determined by agreement.

As an interim accounting specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for independently preparing and ensuring the quality of group accounting and consolidation.

• Ensure quality and structure in monthly and quarterly financial statements (and, if extended, also annual financial statements).

• In collaboration with the CFO, prepare and ensure the quality of monthly and quarterly reports as well as annual reports and financial statements.

• Handle complex accounting issues according to K3 regulations.

• Manage tax calculations, deferred tax, etc., and provide support to the group in corporate tax and VAT matters.

• Provide support to the CFO and management as well as to subsidiaries in accounting, tax, and reporting issues.

• Contact with external auditors, internal audit, and support during audits.

• Ongoing improvement of processes, controls, and reporting structures.

Reporting from underlying companies in the group and consolidation is done in IBM Cognos Controller.

To be qualified for this assignment, you must meet the following:

• Relevant higher education or equivalent qualifications.

• Extensive experience (at least seven years) in accounting in a large company and/or complex group, of which at least four years in group accounting.

• Very good knowledge of K3 regulations and in making technical accounting assessments (at least three years of group financial statements according to the regulations).

• Very good knowledge and extensive experience (at least four years independently/responsible) in operationally conducting consolidation, cash flow analysis, and group reporting.

• Very good knowledge and experience (at least three years) of the group reporting system IBM Cognos Controller.

• Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish.

This consultancy assignment is expected to start as soon as possible, no later than March 2nd. The period is 4-8 months with a scope of 70-100% by agreement.

You should be able to provide two references at an early stage.

Interviews with the client are planned for week 7.
