We are looking for someone who has knowledge, experience, and commitment to people in vulnerable life situations.

We are in an exciting time. The new Social Services Act is here with more focus on preventive work, participation, and the individual's own strength. This gives us greater opportunities to work with the person at the center. Do you want to help shape the future of social services with us?

Responsibilities

With us, you will be one of three social workers working with financial assistance. This means you have your own case management responsibility, but also colleagues close to you all the time. There is also a senior social worker for the group.

You will, among other things:

• Investigate and make decisions about the right to financial assistance, have recurring conversations with your clients – often in life's toughest situations.
• Establish implementation plans and together with the individual seek paths to self-sufficiency.
• Collaborate with our labor market unit, health care, the Employment Service, and other actors.
• Participate in our development work – both regarding methods, interactions, and work environment.
• Work with the reception of individuals from other countries who have been assigned to our municipality.

We are a well-functioning team where we help each other, reflect together, and have an open climate. There is time for both social work and space to grow in your professional role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an educated social worker or has another relevant university education (with at least 7.5 credits in social law), has experience of authority exercise within financial assistance – but this is not a requirement. You have a warm, respectful attitude and good judgment. You can work independently but think it is important to be part of a team. If you have also worked in the operational system Life Care, that is an extra plus.

We are looking for someone who is confident in themselves, has their heart in the right place, and wants to work long-term and sustainably with people.
