Young Community Developers Wanted for Tibro Municipality Summer Assignment 2026!

Tibro municipality is now looking for young community developers for a summer assignment in 2026!

Tibro is a municipality in western Sweden with just over 11,000 inhabitants, characterized by engagement and collaboration. There is a culture of co-creation and a spirit of collaboration that stands out.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Previous young community developers have contributed to various proposals for meeting places and development ideas for young people in Tibro. With the next round of young community developers, we are now taking the step from idea to implementation, focusing on creating concrete activities and content during the summer.

The position is located within the Culture and Leisure Administration of Tibro municipality. You will work closely with the administration's supervisors and have your main workplace within the Culture and Leisure Administration's activities.

The assignment is based on a youth perspective and aims to strengthen young people's influence and create activities for and by young people in Tibro.

During the assignment, you will work together with other young community developers to:

• Plan and implement the work around the school graduation in 2026, aiming to create a new and recurring tradition
• Map out what summer looks like for young people in Tibro
• Develop, plan, and promote an activity that takes place during the summer, preferably linked to your own interests
• Conclude the assignment with a joint final report on the work you have carried out

This is a part-time position with ample room for your own initiatives, responsibilities, and ideas.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone aged 17-22 who resides in Tibro municipality. No prior experience is required.

It is important that you:

• Are interested in developing Tibro as a good place for young people
• Are social and find it easy to meet people
• Can take responsibility, work independently, and collaborate in a group
• Ideally have a commitment or interest that you want to share

Leadership qualities, drive, and initiative are meritorious, but also something you will have the opportunity to develop during the assignment.
