Are you ready to shape the future of Ulricehamn, together with us?

The welfare sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and home health care, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes.

The municipality of Ulricehamn aims to become the best public employer in Sjuhärad. We are also investing in making our already good elderly care even better.

We are looking for someone who is good at what they do but wants to become even better. If you have a special passion for giving the elderly a meaningful everyday life, in addition to providing them with the best care and support they can receive, you will fit in with us. Right now, we are intensively working on developing our own Living concept, which is about providing those who live with us quality of life, security, and meaningfulness on an individual level. Every person is important to us! Both employees and residents!

We have five care and nursing homes located in different parts of the municipality. Solrosen and Ryttershov can be found in the beautiful central parts of Ulricehamn, while Ekero, Parkgården, and Hökerumsgården are located in the nature-close outskirts of the municipality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a method developer for a shared position based at Solrosen and Hökerumsgården care and nursing homes. If you are a trained specialist nursing assistant, activation pedagogue, or support pedagogue, you are the one we are looking for.

We work to ensure that our residents can live their entire lives to the fullest according to their abilities, and we want to create a meaningful everyday life for everyone who lives with us.

As a method developer in our operations, you need to be able to guide and coach other employees in the methods and working methods that create well-being, quality of life, and security. We work person-centered and function-preserving, and we want everyone who lives with us to be able to participate and be active according to their abilities. Each individual's resources are utilized, and care and support are planned based on our desire to support the healthy aspects of each individual. The elderly person with us is the expert on their own life.

As a method developer, you will be part of the workgroups where you support and guide them in their daily work. Additionally, you will work on coaching employees in working methods and approaches that contribute to a person-centered attitude. You will have close collaboration with the unit managers and be part of developing the quality of the unit.

The position is scheduled Monday to Friday, but may also involve work in the evenings, weekends, and nights as needed for method support.

QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires basic nursing education and post-secondary education with at least 200 YH or 60 HP related to geriatrics, dementia, activation, elderly health, or another area that the employer deems relevant for the assignment. Experience in method-supportive work within care and nursing is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, has good computer skills, is solution-focused, quality-conscious, creative, and flexible. You have good pedagogical skills, can take initiative, are humble, and have a high ability to collaborate. You have a good attitude, are communicative, relationship-building, and care about creating meaningfulness and dignity. It is also important that you have a positive attitude and are proactive in development issues. You have a salutogenic approach and share our common values to give the elderly the opportunity to live a dignified life.

You will work at two care and nursing homes, which means you need to be able to travel between central Ulricehamn and Hökerum. Therefore, a driver's license and access to your own car are required. Travel compensation will be provided according to the applicable agreement.
