Solstens Group Home

Solstens group home consists of five apartments and targets the psychiatric care group.

Job Responsibilities

We offer you a stimulating and developing job where you, together with competent and experienced colleagues, contribute to creating security, good care, and support in everyday life for our users, while enabling a meaningful and active leisure time.

The tasks are varied and tailored to each individual's needs, resources, and conditions. The work includes purchasing, cooking, cleaning, and participating in leisure activities. You will also be responsible for social documentation, advocacy assignments, and medication management according to delegation.

Our working method is low-arousal and structured, focusing on strengthening individual independence.

The Position

The position is a one-year temporary contract with full-time hours of 37 hours/week, scheduled for days, evenings, sleeping on-call, and work every other weekend.

Co-planning

Härryda municipality works to increase basic staffing and reduce the need for hourly contracts. Co-planning means that you have a home unit but may also work shifts in other units within the municipality as needed. The purpose is to ensure continuity and secure care for users, while you as an employee gain variation, broader experience, and opportunities for professional development. Introduction is provided to help you feel secure.

Requirements

  • You have completed the nursing program and are a nursing assistant/support assistant or have another education that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental or neuropsychiatric disabilities.
  • Ability to take and follow delegated health care tasks.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills.

Meritorious

  • Driver's license B.
  • Experience with low-arousal approaches, AAC, and clear pedagogical methods.
  • Experience with TimeCare, Treserva, and/or the BPSD registry.

Personal Qualities

  • Empathetic and flexible.
  • Responsible and independent.
  • Good collaboration skills and a positive attitude.
  • Confident in handling demanding situations.
