Your workplace

Sjöholmens preschool is the smallest preschool in Landvetter and was renovated in 2023. The preschool has two departments where the children are divided into a younger and an older group. We are centrally located and have proximity to the lake, forest, and the center with its cultural house. Care and values are important pillars in the operation so that we can provide the children with the best conditions for development and learning.

Salmereds preschool has four departments and is centrally located north of Landvetter center. The preschool is close to beautiful natural areas surrounded by villas and smaller apartment buildings. The preschool has bright, pleasant facilities and learning environments that encourage creativity and imaginative play and has its own kitchen.

As a preschool assistant in Härryda municipality, you contribute to a safe, equitable, and developing preschool. Together with preschool teachers and colleagues, you create good relationships and a stimulating learning environment based on the preschool's curriculum and values.

Your responsibilities include:

• meeting each child based on needs and interests
• contributing to safety, structure, and joy at work
• participating in planning, implementation, and follow-up of the activities
• working with pedagogical documentation and reflection

Qualifications

Requirements

• Education as a preschool assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Basic digital competence
• Good knowledge of the preschool's mission and curriculum

Meritorious

• Preschool assistant with upper secondary education
• Experience of working in preschool
• Experience of systematic quality work
• Experience of working with children in need of special support
• Experience of language-developing methods

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
