Ale municipality is now looking for a Social Worker for the children and youth unit (0–18 years), a role for those who want to contribute with safety, stability, and professional social work within an organization with great social responsibility.

About the role

As a social worker within children and youth, the consultant will work with both investigation and reception according to SoL and LVU. The assignment involves independently driving cases forward, conducting investigations, making assessments, and ensuring that decisions are documented and followed up in a legally secure manner.

The work requires good documentation skills and confidence in handling processes. The role involves collaboration with both internal and external actors such as schools, BUP, police, and other authorities. Documentation is done in the operational system Treserva. There is an opportunity for remote work one day a week by agreement.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by us at StudentConsulting and work as a consultant for Ale Municipality. The assignment starts immediately and lasts for three months, with the possibility of extension if needed. The deadline for applications is 4/2.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in social work

• Has several years of experience in authority exercise and investigative work within children and youth according to SoL and LVU

• Has a B driver's license

• Is confident in independent work and has a good ability to complete cases

• Has very good documentation skills and is well-grounded in handling

• Enjoys collaboration and has a professional approach in dialogue with both internal and external actors

Personal qualities will play a significant role in the assignment. To thrive, we see that the consultant is responsible, structured, communicative, and confident in their assessments. The ability to build trust and maintain good collaborations is central.
