Your workplace

Salmereds Preschool is looking for a Preschool Teacher for a temporary position during the spring. The preschool has four departments and is centrally located north of Landvetter center. The preschool is close to beautiful natural areas surrounded by villas and smaller apartment buildings. It has bright, inviting premises and learning environments that encourage creativity and imaginative play, as well as its own kitchen for meal preparation.

Your mission

As a preschool teacher with us, you will lead, develop, and implement the educational activities. You will work to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where each child has the opportunity to develop based on their own needs, interests, and abilities.

You are responsible for translating the curriculum goals into practice, planning and documenting activities, and following up on children's learning and development together with your team. Your work includes creating inclusive learning environments that nurture children's creativity, curiosity, and desire to learn.

Your mission also involves being a reliable adult and pedagogical leader who:

• Creates positive relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians
• Plans and leads activities that promote learning, play, and social development
• Reflects on and develops the operations together with colleagues
• Contributes to systematic quality work through documentation and follow-up
• Supports children in developing their independence, empathy, and ability to cooperate

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape the preschool's culture, develop learning environments and pedagogical processes, and participate in joint development initiatives for the operations.

Requirements

• Licensed preschool teacher
• Good collaboration skills
• Ability to implement the curriculum in practice
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic digital competence

Meritorious

• Experience working in preschool
• Experience with pedagogical documentation and systematic quality work
• Experience with children with special needs
• Previous participation in development and process work
• Experience with language development approaches
