JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to be part of educating the industry's future competence and at the same time contribute to the development of a strong and modern Industrial Program in Stenungsund?

As a teacher in the Industrial Technology program, you will teach both practically and theoretically in workshop technology, such as reading drawings and manual processing. Experience with CNC is an advantage. Your main tasks will be in operational reliability and maintenance where you will teach strategic and systematic maintenance for the functionality and safe operation of equipment. The teaching also includes analysis and quality assurance of operations at industrial facilities as well as work with daily maintenance of equipment and facilities.

You have a high degree of personal maturity. It is also an advantage if you have previous experience working as a teacher, preferably with a teaching license or with other pedagogical work, and that you are used to meeting and supporting students in their learning and development.

An important part of the assignment is to support students' APL (workplace-based learning) through contact with local industrial companies, planning and follow-up of APL, and relationship-building collaboration between school and industry.

You will belong to Unit 4, which includes the Technology Program, Industrial Technology Program, and Technology Program Engineering. The school has a strong commitment and focus on development. Nösnäsgymnasiet is a Technical College, which means close cooperation between the school and the business community.

The work is carried out in teams and in close collaboration with the school's student health team and other teachers at the school. As a mentor, you will be responsible for monitoring absenteeism, social situations, and academic results for your students. Mentorship also means that together with guardians, relevant teachers, and other staff at the school, you will provide support and create a school situation that enables students to achieve their goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed vocational teacher, preferably with experience in CNC programming. It is valuable if you have an established network within the industry.
