The unit for Care, Support, and Administration is part of the Social Administration's area of Individual and Support in Herrljunga municipality. The unit is located at Verkstadsgatan 11 A–B, about a ten-minute walk from Herrljunga station, sharing premises with Adult Support and Treatment as well as Children and Family.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The unit for Care, Support, and Administration consists of two social administrators and eight social workers tasked with investigating and assessing needs in the areas of social psychiatry, elderly care, and disabilities according to LSS and SoL.

We are now looking for a social worker for a temporary position during parental leave. The temporary position is limited from April 13, 2026, to April 16, 2027.

In the role of social worker, you will handle cases within LSS and social psychiatry. The work involves exercising authority with a focus on legal security, quality, and the individual's needs.

You will be part of a workplace with good cohesion, where we care for each other and have an open and permissive work climate. Collaboration with other actors, both internally and externally, is a natural part of the job, which means many points of contact and the opportunity to meet people in various operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in the areas included in the unit's assignments. You have documented good knowledge in case management, documentation, and social law, as well as a well-developed analytical ability. The job requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience with IBIC, the operational system Combine, and Samsa. We also view positively if you have previously held a role where you shared your knowledge and experience with colleagues.

You have a degree in social work or another qualification that the employer deems equivalent. As a person, you are engaged, creative, and solution-focused. You have a good ability to listen, communicate, and handle complex and sometimes demanding processes. Furthermore, you are structured, meticulous, pedagogical, and have good collaborative skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license (B) and e-identification are required.
