Priest wanted for Södra Kålland Parish

Would you like to work as a priest in the countryside, close to both nature and the city? Do you enjoy celebrating worship and want a position where you meet people of all ages? Then this could be the right place for you.

Södra Kållands parish consists of Kållands-Råda, Järpås, and Örslösa congregations. The parish is located just outside Lidköping.

About the position

We are looking for a priest to work throughout the parish.

The work is broad and traditional, and you will meet many dedicated volunteers in the congregations.

We are looking for someone who:

· values worship

· is proactive and engaged

· has pastoral experience

The position is primarily full-time, but the scope can be adjusted according to your wishes.

You need to have a driver's license and access to a car.

Recruitment is ongoing, and the start date will be agreed upon.

About the parish

Södra Kållands parish has approximately 5,300 members. Here you will find:

· 17 churches

· 4 parish halls (Råda, Järpås, Örslösa, and Tun)

· around 60 elected representatives

· over 30 employees

· many volunteer workers

The activities are characterized by engagement, community, and a rich parish life – both during the day and in the evening, almost every day of the week.
