Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary according to the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to a smooth everyday life.

About the position

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

Our client lives with a progressive illness and needs support in most daily activities. To thrive in this role, you need to be present, social, and have a positive and warm attitude. The client appreciates both lively conversations and calmer moments - the important thing is that you can sense and adapt to the situation.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a 67-year-old man living in Lindholmen, Gothenburg

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• can work in an environment where smoking occurs

• can work in an environment where dogs are present

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in personal assistance or within healthcare

• share the client's interests such as cars, books, and various activities

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is expandable. You can choose whether you want to work 15%, 28%, or 42% of full-time. The position involves work during daytime and evening hours on weekends. Working hours vary between 09:00-14:00, 09:00-15:00, and 15:30-21:30.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
