JOB DESCRIPTION
The HR Partner is responsible for supporting managers and leadership in fulfilling their employer and leadership responsibilities through qualified, operationally close, and legally secure HR support.
The HR Partner works closely with managers at various levels and is their main contact within HR. The role represents the employer and acts on behalf of HR management and reports to the Unit Manager of the HR Support and Development unit.
As an HR Partner, you are responsible for:
- Translating operational needs into HR support and HR strategies into operational HR support
- Providing qualified advice on employer issues
- Ensuring correct application of regulations
- Contributing to the practical implementation of HR strategies and decisions in the operations.
This includes, among other things:
- Providing qualified and operationally close support to managers throughout the employer cycle, including advice on HRA's main processes as well as issues related to leadership, work environment, rehabilitation, transition, and conflict management
- Guiding managers in complex personnel matters and labor law issues in collaboration with HR colleagues and HR management
- Supporting in party issues according to MBL
- Supporting managers in systematic work environment efforts and preventive OSA work, and driving rehabilitation processes together with occupational health services
- Contributing to competence supply through staffing, recruitment, and onboarding, as well as supporting the development of leadership, talent development, succession planning, and competence development
- Implementing HR strategies, policies, and working methods in the operations, ensuring equitable and legally secure HR application, and capturing and conveying the operational needs to HR management
- Developing, following up, and improving HR processes, including working with HR data, digital tools, and AI, as well as contributing to the implementation of guidelines and new working methods
- Participating in and sometimes leading HR projects and development initiatives, as well as facilitating dialogues and efforts that strengthen managers' assignments and develop HR support.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in behavioral science, human resource management, or what the employer assesses as equivalent
- Several years of experience in qualified HR work within government administration
- Experience working closely with managers in a development-oriented and consultative approach based on their role as employer representatives
- Good knowledge of labor law and collective agreements
- Good digital competence and a high ability to use HR systems and digital tools as a natural part of your work
- Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Preferable for the role is:
- Experience from a university or college
- Previous managerial experience
- Experience in recruitment in an academic context
- Experience working with management and leadership groups
- Experience participating in digital development of HR processes.
