As an accounting assistant, you will work closely with the business and contribute to efficient and high-quality invoicing processes. About the job as an Accounting Assistant:

As an accounting assistant with us at Jefferson Wells, at our client in Västerås, you will be an important part of the teams working with customer and supplier invoices. You will help ensure accurate ledgers and a smooth financial process for the business. The role involves daily communication with both internal and external parties, where you, together with your colleagues, work for high quality and good collaborations.

Common tasks include:

• Ensure customer and supplier invoice management.
• Perform reconciliations.
• Work with qualitative requirement management.
• Have daily contact with customers, their customers, and internal units.
• Investigate and analyze discrepancies to ensure accurate ledgers.
• Contribute to a qualitative year-end closing.
• Initiate improvements for increased quality and efficiency.

The candidate we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who has a basic understanding of accounting and experience working with accounts receivable or accounts payable. You thrive in an environment where you can take responsibility, collaborate, and learn new ways of working. The role requires structure, curiosity, and a solution-oriented mindset. If you also have an interest in digitization and system development, it is a plus.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a few years of experience in similar tasks.
• Has a good understanding of accounting processes.
• Has good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with other financial or business systems.
• Is positive, structured, and curious about development.
• Thrives in a team and is willing to share knowledge.
• Is quick to adopt new ways of working and sees opportunities for improvements.
