Nordic Exsense is now looking for four accounting assistants for a project with one of our clients in Västerås. The assignment is suitable for you who thrive in a structured role within finance, appreciate collaboration, and want to contribute to effective and quality-assured financial processes.

In the role of accounting assistant, you will work to ensure effective handling of customer and supplier invoices. You will become part of a team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and shared responsibility are central. Together, you will create and maintain good relationships – both internally and externally – with a focus on quality and improvement.

The team's overall responsibility is to ensure accurate accounts receivable and payable for stores and associated group companies.

In your daily work, you will among other things:

• Handle customer and supplier invoices

• Perform reconciliations and ensure accurate accounts

• Work with qualitative requirement and case management

• Maintain ongoing contact with customers, their customers, and internal functions

• Investigate and analyze discrepancies before closing

• Contribute to and initiate improvements in processes and flows for increased quality and efficiency

To succeed in this assignment, we see that you have:

• Basic understanding of accounting processes

• Several years of experience in similar tasks

• Interest in digitization and automation within finance

• Good knowledge of Excel (other financial systems are a plus)

• A structured approach and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
