HR Business Partner for a technology and industry-related company in Västerås
We are currently looking for an HR Business Partner for a client in Västerås within a technology and industry-related business experiencing strong growth. The assignment is a full-time consultancy role for approximately one year, where you will have the opportunity to work in an organization with an exciting development journey and high ambitions within HR.
In this role, you will work broadly with both strategic and operational HR issues and become an important part of further developing the HR function in Sweden. You will be part of an engaged HR team together with several HR Business Partners and collaborate closely with managers and leaders in the organization.
The assignment is located at the client's office in Västerås, where work is primarily conducted on-site to be close to the business and employees.
About the role
As an HR Business Partner, you will function as a strategic and operational support to the organization. You will build trusting relationships, contribute to structure, and drive HR work in line with business goals. You will also participate in larger change and development initiatives, including work related to organizational development and future business changes.
Your main responsibilities
- Ensure that People Priorities align with the business's goals.
- Be HR's representative in the organization and support managers in HR-related issues.
- Provide advice on labor law, union matters, talent supply, and labor law issues.
- Drive and participate in central HR processes such as:
- Annual salary review.
- Performance & Development conversations.
- People Review and succession planning.
- Employee surveys.
- Analyze HR data and translate insights into concrete actions.
- Work proactively with talent management and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Contribute to continuous improvements of HR processes.
- Participate in and drive both local and global HR projects.
Who are you?
- Academic degree in HR, human resources, or behavioral science.
- At least 5 years of experience in qualified HR roles.
- Experience collaborating with managers, union representatives, and other key stakeholders.
- Good understanding of labor law and Swedish collective agreements.
- A coaching and trust-building approach.
- Strong communication skills and good structure.
- Ability to take initiative and drive issues independently.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
