As an inspection technician with our client, you will combine technology and customer contact to ensure that cars, trucks, buses, and other heavy vehicles continue to roll safely on the roads. You do not need any previous experience in inspections, as you will have the opportunity to receive complete basic training that leads to certification.
Your responsibilities:
As an inspection technician, you will perform thorough and safety-focused vehicle inspections while creating a positive experience for our customers through clear and friendly communication. You contribute to a safe working environment through collaboration and responsibility, and you will face a varied workday filled with technical challenges and customer contact.
From vehicle interest to certified technician
To succeed in your new position, you will receive comprehensive basic training that will make you a certified inspection technician. During and after the training, you will always have support from trainers, mentors, and managers before you are ready to work independently.
We are looking for someone who:
· Has a genuine interest in vehicles and technology
· Has a keen eye for detail and enjoys working according to established safety requirements
· Is committed to continuously educating yourself and developing your knowledge
· Is good at building and maintaining good customer relationships
· Thrives in a dynamic work environment and can quickly adapt to changes
· Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish
· Has good vehicle knowledge and technical competence
· Holds a B driver's license (manual) & C driver's license
Meritorious:
· Work experience and/or education in automotive technology, sales, or service.
· Driver's license for more vehicle types, such as buses.
Other
Scope: Full-time, permanent position starting with a probationary period.
Start date: By agreement.
Working hours: Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00, with some weekend work and evening work as needed.
Location: Heby. Some work at other stations in the local area may occur as needed.
