We are now looking for an Accounting Assistant for a consulting assignment focusing on accounts receivable and accounts payable. The assignment is suitable for you who are at the beginning of your career in finance and want to develop in a structured environment where quality, collaboration, and improvement work are at the center.

About the assignment

In the role of accounting assistant, you will be responsible together with the team for ensuring effective and accurate handling of customer and supplier invoices. The work is carried out in close dialogue with both internal and external contacts and is characterized by collaboration, accountability, and a shared focus on achieving set goals.

The team's mission is to ensure accurate accounts for several units and group companies, which requires precision, structure, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer and supplier invoices
• Ongoing reconciliations of accounts
• Qualitative requirement and case management
• Daily contact with customers, their customers, and internal functions
• Investigate and analyze discrepancies to ensure accurate accounting
• Contribute to a correct and quality-assured closing
• Initiate and participate in improvement work to increase efficiency and quality in processes

Required Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the accounting process
• Experience working with accounts receivable and/or accounts payable
• Good ability to work in a structured and meticulous manner
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Excel
• Familiarity with and experience in accounting systems
• Experience with Agresso and/or Cosmoz is an advantage
• Interest in digitization and automation of financial processes
