Sustainability Strategist at LF Bergslagen

Do you want to make a real difference? We are now looking for a values-driven Sustainability Strategist who wants to take a key role with us at LF Bergslagen.

About the Role

As a Sustainability Strategist, you will play a central role in driving and developing our sustainability efforts. You will be responsible for ensuring that sustainability becomes a natural and integrated part of our operations – from strategy to concrete activities.

We work together and support each other. This way, you contribute not only to your own development but also to the organization as a whole. The role involves close collaboration with the management team, managers, and colleagues, where you have an important task in supporting and challenging the organization to include sustainability in daily work. You will work both operationally and strategically.

You are business-oriented and have the ability to drive and coordinate sustainability work so that it becomes a natural part of our operations. You translate strategies into action plans, follow up on our goals, and represent LF Bergslagen in joint sustainability initiatives within the LF group. You will also act as an expert on current sustainability issues, such as regulations and legislation.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in a relevant field and previous experience in sustainability work, preferably within insurance or finance. You are used to translating strategies into practical plans and activities, and have good insight into legislation and regulations regarding sustainability for financial companies.

To succeed in this role, you need to be unpretentious and collaborative, while also being used to working independently and taking your own initiatives within your area of responsibility. You have a sense of order and a good ability to structure, plan, and execute what has been decided. It is an advantage if you have pedagogical skills and enjoy speaking in public.
