What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details. You ensure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, safety tasks, and sales work.

The work in the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and safety. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, that is an advantage.

However, the most important thing is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit this role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

The position is a temporary employment for occasional days as needed. We are now looking for reception staff who can start their training in April, which will then transition into a summer temporary position during the summer. Our hope is that after the summer, you will also want to work extra during sickness or peak times. We are looking for staff who are at least 20 years old, preferably with experience in service, but a cheerful demeanor and proficiency in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form are the most important. If you are a student, this could be a suitable part-time job.
