We are now recruiting a Lead Business Controller for a well-established international company. In this role, you will have overall controller responsibility for the company's central and support functions. You will work closely with functional managers and act as a financial partner by ensuring that follow-up, planning, and forecasts are accurate, structured, and forward-looking.

You will actively contribute to the organization's long-term goals and the development of a more efficient, sustainable, and data-driven organization.

Main Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Ensure accurate accounting of income statement and balance sheet as well as cash flow

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles

• Prepare and coordinate management reports, performance follow-ups, financial comments, and recurring analyses on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Year-End Closing

• Overall responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to management

Budget and Forecast

• Coordinate and establish budgets and forecasts for central functions

• Follow up and analyze deviations

Financial Analysis

• Follow up and analyze functional costs

• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements

• Contribute to the development and streamlining of financial processes

Coordination and Business Support

• Ensure effective coordination of financial activities between different functions

• Create a clear link between business goals and financial goals

Location

The position is based in Västerås. Hybrid work is applied with the possibility to work from home 2–3 days a week.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in controlling, financial planning, and analysis

• Approximately 10 years of experience as a controller or in a similar finance function

• Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with different parts of the organization

• Interest in digital solutions and data-driven decision-making

• Advanced skills in Excel and experience with financial systems

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or equivalent

• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
