Senior Payroll Specialist for International Company

Are you an experienced payroll specialist who thrives in a role with significant responsibility and complex issues? We at Poolia are now looking for a senior consultant for an assignment at an international company in the industrial sector.

In this role, you will work broadly within HR Operations with a focus on payroll management, pensions, and HR administrative processes.

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Poolia and work on behalf of our client.

Hybrid work is possible in dialogue with the responsible manager, up to two days per week remotely.

About the Position

As a Payroll Specialist, you will work with qualified HR and payroll administrative processes in an international organization. The role involves independent responsibility for complex issues related to payroll, pensions, and collective agreements, as well as ensuring correct and efficient processes.

You will also contribute to the development of routines and working methods within HR Operations and act as support for both managers and employees in matters related to payroll, pensions, and agreements.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Independently manage the entire payroll process
• Administer time reporting, absences, expense claims, and compensations
• Handle pensions and insurances, including reporting
• Interpret and apply collective agreements, particularly the Teknikavtalen
• Provide support to managers and employees regarding payroll, pensions, and agreements
• Communicate with authorities, trade unions, and external partners
• Work with HR administration related to, for example, hiring, terminations, personnel data, and reporting
• Contribute to the improvement and development of routines and processes

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Administrator
• Good knowledge of the payroll process and applicable laws and regulations
• Experience in pension and insurance administration
• Experience working in payroll and HR systems
• Very good analytical skills and high accuracy

Meritorious

• In-depth knowledge of Teknikavtalen (IF Metall, Unionen, Sveriges Ingenjörer, and Ledarna)

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
