With us, you will play an important role in strengthening the dialogue with the business community and contributing to creating good conditions for companies to start, develop, and establish themselves in Norberg.
About the workplace
The position is located in the community development unit, which is part of the municipal management office. The unit consists of strategists, developers, and administrators who coordinate and develop municipality-wide processes in areas such as local supply, crisis and preparedness, accessibility, crime prevention, digitalization, budget and follow-up, business development, and communication.
We are a team of knowledgeable and helpful colleagues driven by the commitment to make Norberg an even better place to live, work, and thrive.

As a business developer, you will be responsible for the municipality's dialogue with the business community and actively work to create good conditions for companies to start, develop, and establish themselves in Norberg. The role also includes managing and coordinating the municipality's work with land and development issues in close collaboration with other operations and external actors.
In a smaller municipality, the role means that you work closely with companies, civil servants, and political leadership. You often act as a link between the business community and the municipality's operations and contribute to coordinating establishment matters and development issues.
Your tasks include:
- conducting company visits and maintaining dialogue with the business community
- contributing to the development of the municipality's business services and business climate
- coordinating establishment matters and serving as a contact point for companies in the municipality

- collaborating with regional actors and other organizations on business issues
The position is varied and involves many points of contact. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in the organization.

It is advantageous if you have experience from the private sector, for example, through your own business.
