About the role

Our client delivers steel and metal products to the construction and manufacturing industries and is now looking for a student willing to work approximately two days a week alongside their studies. This is a perfect opportunity for those who wish to combine their studies with valuable practical experience in the industry.

As a Production Planner, you will serve as a crucial link between sales and production. You will translate customer drawings and requirements into clear and actionable production documentation, review technical drawings, work with CAD, and ensure that production has all the information needed to work efficiently. You will also provide support on technical issues and collaborate closely with both the sales and production departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling production flows.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to the optimization of production processes and work methods.
• Support the production planning team with administrative tasks.
• Participate in projects and meetings related to production development.

We are looking for you who

• Are a university or civil engineering student studying at least 50%.
• Possess good technical communication skills.
• Have previous experience in service and/or administration.
• Have good system proficiency.
• Are fluent in both Swedish and English.
• Live in Västerås.

It is an advantage if you have
