Factory Controller for Exciting Consulting Assignment in Västerås

Do you have extensive experience in factory controlling within the manufacturing industry and thrive in a changing environment? We are now looking for a Factory Controller for an exciting consulting assignment in Västerås.

This is an ASAP position, so we would like you to start immediately.

You will be employed by Poolia and work on assignment for our client.

About the Position

Our client is in a very exciting and transformative phase. Alongside ongoing production, work is underway to build a completely new production facility with planned occupancy in 2027. In this role, you will have a central position in ensuring strong financial control in the current factory while contributing to the transition to the new facility.

Scope & Location

• Start: Immediately or no later than March 23, 2026
• End date: September 22, 2026
• Scope: Full-time
• Location: Västerås – 100% on-site with the client

Your Main Responsibilities

• Operational factory controlling and financial monitoring
• Cost control and monitoring of productivity goals
• Variance analysis, product costing, and inventory monitoring
• Business partner to the factory management and key stakeholders
• Active participation in improvement work, goal setting, and performance monitoring
• Support in monthly closing, forecasts, and budgeting processes
• Contribute to financial stability and structure during the transition to the new production facility

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience as a Factory Controller / Operations Controller within the manufacturing industry
• Very good understanding of production flows and cost structures
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
• Ability to work hands-on, structured, and independently
• Experience working in changing and developing environments
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You are a confident and analytical person with good communication skills. You thrive in a role where you combine operational work with strategic thinking and where you can be an active partner to the business.
