We at The Finance Family are now looking for an accounting economist for our client in Västerås for a longer consulting assignment. During the assignment, you will be employed by us. The Finance Family is an authorized recruitment and staffing company with collective agreements and insurance for all our employees.

As an accounting economist at our client, you will be an important part of the Swedish finance department. Tasks included in the assignment are:

Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Assisting with reporting.
Responsible for reporting tax declarations, VAT, employer contributions, EU statistics, and other reporting to authorities and third parties.
Contributing to the preparation of annual reports and income tax returns.
Monthly reconciliations of various accounts.
Development and improvement of financial processes.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in accounting and likely around 5 years of experience in a similar role. You are meticulous and quality-conscious, used to working independently but also collaborate well with others. To succeed in this role, you need to be confident in your accounting knowledge and be proactive. You are proficient in Excel and familiar with working in various systems.
