Our Mission:

We are currently looking for an experienced accountant to support the company manager in a real estate company operating in Västerås. The assignment is full-time and is expected to last for about a year. The optimal start date is in mid-February.

The company applies a hybrid work model where work takes place in the office three days a week and remotely two days a week.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will work as support to the company manager and be responsible for ensuring a holistic perspective regarding clients' accounting. You will participate in and drive projects and handle ongoing and ad hoc-related accounting issues to ensure high quality and compliance with internal and external accounting principles, applicable regulations, and legal requirements.

You will maintain an ongoing and structured dialogue with other parts of the organization on relevant accounting issues and contribute with analysis, documentation, and proposals for improvement and efficiency measures.

The role also includes responsibility for quality assurance of the preparation, documentation, and reporting of accounting information.

Your Background:

We are looking for someone with very good knowledge in accounting and taxation, with a good understanding of regulations such as the Annual Accounts Act, the Bookkeeping Act, the Income Tax Act, and the Value Added Tax Act, as well as a basic understanding of IFRS. You have participated in larger and complex assignments in various areas and have completed these with very high quality. The role requires a senior competence level typically achieved after about 9–12 years of experience as a consultant in the field.

As a person, you are communicative and enjoy collaborating, both in groups and individually. You express yourself fluently in speech and writing and find it easy to build good relationships. You should also have experience in leading larger groups and ensuring effective collaboration and results.

Experience from the real estate industry is an advantage.
