We at StudentConsulting are now looking for part-time employees for our client Ryds Bilglas customer service in Västerås.

Ryds Bilglas is the market-leading auto glass workshop in Sweden, founded in 1947. Today, Ryds Bilglas is part of the Cary Group and has over 145 locations across Sweden, with millions of repairs in its history. The customer service in Västerås handles all customer inquiries in Sweden, and as the high season approaches, they are now seeking reinforcement.

In the role of customer service representative at Ryds Bilglas, you will be offered a good part-time job and the opportunity to be part of a team with strong community and expertise in their field. Your main tasks will primarily involve receiving calls from customers wishing to replace or repair their auto glass.

Other common tasks include:

  • Contacting workshops.
  • Checking insurance and contacting insurance companies.
  • Responding to emails in the shared inbox.
  • Conducting customer surveys and other customer service tasks.

The work shifts are on varying days (weekdays) starting between 07:00 - 08:30 to 17:30. As there is the greatest need for support on Mondays and Tuesdays, we expect you to be able to work these days most often. During the summer, the demand will increase, so we wish for you to be available for work throughout the summer.

This is a staffing assignment where you are employed by us at StudentConsulting and scheduled for work according to Ryds Bilglas's staffing needs. The need is usually greatest on Mondays and Tuesdays. There may also be bookings with short notice due to illness or peak workloads, so we prefer that you are flexible in your availability.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Since the job primarily involves contact with customers and workshops, you should be relationship-building, structured, and meticulous. As the work can sometimes be stressful, you should be able to perform well in stressful situations. Furthermore, you are service-oriented, punctual, and easily build trust with customers and colleagues.

To be considered for the position, you must:

  • Be a student or have another main occupation of at least 50 percent.
  • Have a complete high school education.
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.
  • Basic computer skills.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Basic knowledge of cars and an interest in automobiles.
  • Previous work experience in service or sales.
  • Previous work experience in customer service.
