Our client in Västerås is now looking for accounting assistants for a project within accounts receivable and accounts payable. The role is suitable for you who are at the beginning of your career in accounting and want to develop in a structured and team-oriented environment. You will be part of an engaged team where collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement are in focus, with the goal of ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes.

In the role of accounting assistant, you will work to ensure effective handling of customer and supplier invoices. You play a central role in maintaining an accurate ledger for stores and group companies, which involves daily work with invoice management, reconciliations, and claims management. The work is carried out in close dialogue with customers, their customers, and internal units within the organization. You will also investigate and analyze discrepancies to contribute to accurate financial statements and actively participate in improvement work to enhance quality and efficiency in existing workflows.

• Basic understanding of the accounting process

• Preferably a few years of experience in similar tasks

• Good knowledge of Excel and other relevant systems

• Structured, curious, and used to handling multiple tasks simultaneously

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop

• Good collaboration skills and a natural team player attitude

• Ability to quickly adapt to new working methods and identify improvement opportunities

Meritorious:

• Experience with financial systems such as Agresso and/or Cosmoz

The assignment is full-time (100%) and will be performed on-site at our client in Västerås. The assignment period runs from February 9, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
