Strategist for the Preschool Administration

The Preschool Administration is a small specialized administration with a large and important mission. With us, you will contribute to ensuring that all preschools in Stockholm maintain good quality, both municipal and privately run. Together with the preschool operations in the city, we focus on ensuring that our youngest Stockholmers meet a safe and equitable environment in preschool.

At the Preschool Administration, knowledgeable and engaged colleagues work in various areas of expertise, such as supervision and licensing as well as development in all areas of preschool.

The organization is under construction, and there is a great opportunity for you to be involved and make an impact. The administration's office is located at Kaplansbacken on Kungsholmen.

Your Role

The Department for Citywide Development continues to expand, and we are now looking for a strategist for a broad and varied position with particular responsibility for coordinating the development of preschool learning environments.

You will be part of a department with thirteen colleagues where you contribute your knowledge and experience. The work requires you to be able to work independently while also having a good ability to collaborate closely with colleagues. Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• relevant university degree, for example in pedagogy, sociology, or social sciences
• current and solid experience in leading projects, qualified investigations, and organizational development at a comprehensive administrative level or equivalent
• several years of current experience in driving and developing systematic quality work
• very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience in a similar role where you have worked with planning preschool facilities and/or functional programs
• experience in a similar role in a politically governed organization
• experience in writing decisions, consultation responses, or various types of service statements.
