Olympica operates preschool and primary school activities in several locations in Dalarna. Olympicaskolan in Hedemora is a primary school with about 200 students from preschool to grade 6. We stand for good quality, always striving to ensure our students have the opportunity to reach their full potential, with a clear focus on values and a profile emphasizing sports, play, and movement.

About the position

As a teacher, you are a good leader with a clear pedagogical leadership style, exuding safety and security. You have the ability to adapt the educational activities to each student’s needs.

Your main responsibility as a teacher is to ensure students' learning and development through instruction, guidance, and support. You utilize methods, content, and interactions based on each student's abilities and conditions so that they can progress as far as possible in their knowledge development. Together, we have developed routines and rules that provide both students and educators with security. At the school, we use lesson observations where you receive support from 10 dimensions of learning processes in teaching, such as having goals for the lesson, ensuring student participation, and establishing routines. You document, follow up, and evaluate your teaching. Documentation of students' knowledge development is done in our learning portal Infomentor. In this position, you will be the responsible class teacher for a class in grades 4-6 and be part of a team where you contribute your engagement to the school's development.
