Assignment Strategist for the Health and Care Administration

We congratulate one of our assignment strategists who is moving on to a managerial position in the municipality. Therefore, we are looking for a new colleague who wants to work towards common goals and develop together with us in the Assignment Unit within the Health and Care Administration.

The Assignment Unit currently consists of approximately 20 employees. It is a caring group that works as a team, with good opportunities for collegial support in the work. In addition to assignment strategists, the group includes other cross-administrative roles such as the Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS), Socially Responsible Coordinator (SAS), Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR), Nutrition Responsible Dietitian (NAD), Housing Coordinator, and the Discharge Team.

The unit is located in the municipality's newly renovated office premises at Sollidenvägen 64B. Here we work according to an activity-based working method where there is an opportunity to sit together with colleagues in an open office landscape, book a meeting room for meetings, or sit in a focus room to work undisturbed.

The position is full-time and permanent. You will work daytime during weekdays. We offer the possibility to work from home up to 49% of your working time, provided that your tasks allow it.

Your New Job

As an assignment strategist with us, you step into a central and dynamic role where your primary task is to bridge the gap between political vision and practical reality. You have a deep understanding of the political mandate and act with obvious loyalty to decisions made, while also carrying a genuine citizen perspective in everything you do. Your everyday life is characterized by a unique breadth; you are expected to have the ability to think strategically and cross-administratively, only to switch to operational work and focus on solutions at the individual level.

Common Tasks

• Strategic planning and operational work
• Conduct procurements and be the contract contact with external providers
• Find suitable placements based on the individual's needs and decisions and then make orders from external suppliers.
• Order and follow up on the quality of the operations.
• Prepare and present cases to the committee and provide support to the committee's elected representatives.
• Lead and participate in development and investigation assignments.
• Be a support to operations, both internally and externally.
• Collaboration internally and externally with various professions, politicians, citizens/representatives, relatives, suppliers/companies, and operations.

Your Competence

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work
• Work experience as a social worker, manager, or strategic role within health and care
• Very good communication skills and clarity (explain, clarify, simplify, and anchor messages)

Merits

• Experience from municipal or public operations and an understanding of how it is to work in a politically governed organization
• Worked with public procurement, orders, and external individual placements
• Experience working with individuals with mental health issues, substance abuse, and comorbidity, as well as with children and families with special needs
• Good knowledge of the Act on Support and Service to Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act with experience working with relevant target groups
