The Child and Adolescent Healthcare provides outpatient services with day care and specialized home care in Hudiksvall and Gävle. There is a children's clinic in Bollnäs. Inpatient departments are located in Gävle and Hudiksvall, offering general pediatric and neonatal care. We collaborate with other services that provide specialized healthcare for children and adolescents. To meet future needs, we work on work environment, accessibility, child-friendly care, patient safety, and palliative care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a quality coordinator in child and adolescent healthcare, you will work throughout the county and be a key person in developing the quality and safety of care. You will be part of the management team for child and adolescent healthcare and support the operations manager, deputy operations manager, and unit managers in matters of quality, patient safety, and operational development.

Your main responsibilities include:

• driving and coordinating patient safety work and leading the unit's patient safety group
• supporting managers and employees in incident management, compiling incidents and patient cases, and reporting to the management team
• leading event, internal, and risk analyses and ensuring that results are implemented in improvement measures
• being responsible for the unit's document management in the document management system Platina, which involves establishing, reviewing, and following up documents, as well as supporting the unit in the process
• structuring and following up patient safety work in the system support Stratsys patient safety module, including the annual patient safety report
• supporting operational development through analysis, training, and close collaboration with managers and medical advisors
• participating in management and collaboration forums as an expert in quality and patient safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a quality coordinator in child and adolescent healthcare, you play a central role in ensuring good care quality and high patient safety. With a strong analytical ability, you identify challenges in the organization early and translate them into concrete, sustainable solutions. The work is characterized by good planning and organizational skills, where structure and clarity create conditions for both effective improvement work and safe care. In a complex and sometimes pressured environment, you are resilient and maintain focus even when conditions change rapidly. Through good collaboration skills and drive, you have a strong ability to lead and drive change work, with the child's best interests and the long-term development of the organization at the center.

In the role of quality coordinator, you should:

• be a licensed nurse
• have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

For this position, it is an advantage if you have experience in operational development and strategic work, preferably in a public organization, as well as experience in patient safety work and/or leadership.
