We are now looking for a highly experienced and self-driven accounting consultant for a qualified consulting assignment in a larger organization. The assignment is suitable for you who are confident in the entire accounting chain, used to working closely with the business, and who thrives in a role where you are expected to take responsibility from day one.

This is an operational assignment where you will be part of the daily work of the finance department and contribute both to ongoing tasks and more complex processes.

Duration of the assignment:

Initially 6–12 months with a very good possibility of extension. The scope is demand-driven and normally varies between approximately 20–75%, with periods of higher workload during year-end closing and special deadlines.

Job Responsibilities

You will work with:

• Ongoing accounting and bookkeeping
• Accounts receivable and payable as well as claims management
• Account reconciliations
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Support in group accounting
• Working in multiple accounting systems simultaneously
• Participation in procurement, implementation, and migration of a new accounting system
• Introduction and training of new staff in finance
• Collaboration with other functions in the organization

Workplace and Working Method

• The assignment is primarily performed on-site at the office in Malmö (Hyllie).
• Remote work may occur to a limited extent by agreement.
• The employer provides a computer, mobile phone, and workplace.
• The same consultant is expected to carry out the assignment throughout the entire contract period.

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for the assignment, you must meet all the requirements below:

• University degree in finance or equivalent
• At least several years of documented experience in qualified accounting work
• Independent experience in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Experience in group accounting
• Practical experience in accounts receivable and payable as well as claims management
• Experience working in a municipal or public environment, or very good understanding of the regulations
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to work on-site in Malmö for most of the assignment

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in municipal accounting
• Previous participation in system changes or implementation of a new accounting system
• Experience with Visma Control
• Experience with Visma DCE Admin
• Experience with Today Insight
• Experience with group reporting systems
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Experience in mentoring or introducing new staff
