About the Role

In the role of SUA/Security Specialist, you will contribute to ensuring that the Vattenfall Group has a strong and effective security protection. You will support the business in matters related to security assessments, security protection agreements, and other security protection issues with significant collaboration both internally and externally. Your contribution is essential for us to achieve the business goals and create long-term value through secure work processes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting security assessments prior to procurements
  • Performing suitability assessments of suppliers and developing relevant security protection agreements
  • Ensuring harmonization of working methods, instructions, and templates across the group
  • Conducting internal controls, internal audits, and supplier controls according to applicable procedures
  • Continuously working with analysis, planning, and follow-up of tasks within security protection

You will keep yourself continuously updated on best practices within the industry, legal requirements, and the geopolitical landscape's impact on the company and the energy sector. Collaboration with internal colleagues as well as external partners is central to your daily work, where you contribute to knowledge sharing and joint development. The position also includes work with Vattenfall AB's registry. Your engagement makes a difference every day as you ensure that our processes maintain high quality, comply with regulations, and support our vision of fossil-free energy.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a university or college degree, preferably in law, security protection, or a related field. You have documented experience working with security protection agreements and supplier controls, which makes you confident in navigating complex regulations and requirements. Your knowledge of current laws and best practices within the industry is up to date, and you understand how geopolitical changes affect the energy sector.

We are looking for someone who is structured and meticulous – you see the value in clear routines and can harmonize your working methods with the group's. Your way of working is characterized by integrity and a strong security awareness, which is crucial for building trust both internally and externally. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken, which enables you to collaborate effectively with colleagues and partners.
