Your areas of responsibility include process development, where you develop and implement working methods that contribute to increased quality, efficiency, and user satisfaction. You ensure that the operations comply with applicable legislation, guidelines, and governing documents and participate in the development of quality indicators and follow-up methods.

You provide support to unit managers in their work with business development, for example through analysis, planning, and implementation of improvement work. You also support unit managers with document management. Collaboration with internal and external actors to promote common development goals is also an important part of the role. Furthermore, you will drive digitalization initiatives to streamline the operations' working methods and processes.

Finally, you are responsible for regularly following up, evaluating, and reporting results and progress in the development work to the operations manager. The role includes both strategic and operational assignments and is both developing and varied.

Qualifications

To be qualified for the position of business developer, you need a three-year university or college degree in public administration, behavioral science, social work, or another equivalent education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment.

You should have good knowledge of legislation in public administration as well as the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL). Experience working within the Act on Choice System (LOV) and public administration is also meritorious. We are looking for someone with excellent computer skills and previous experience as a business developer, preferably in the public sector.

You have the ability to identify and analyze problems, see connections, and propose well-founded solutions even based on complex or limited information. You express yourself well in both speech and writing and can adapt your communication to the recipient and situation.

You work in a structured, systematic, and goal-oriented manner and plan and follow up your work effectively. You find it easy to collaborate, see the big picture, and actively contribute to the common mission.
