About the position

As a communication partner at SRV, you support the organization with communication planning, message formulation, and content for our channels. This position focuses on internal communication but also involves supporting the group in external communication as needed. As a communication partner focusing on internal communication, you have a central role in the organization. You work to create clear, engaging, and effective communication that aligns with SRV's vision, strategy, and long-term goals. In close collaboration with management, HR, and other strategic functions, you drive efforts to strengthen SRV's culture, create context and engagement, and contribute to employees feeling pride and involvement in the organization's mission and development. The position is located in the communications function, which currently has five communication partners.

Responsibilities

The work as a communication partner focusing on internal communication involves developing and driving strategies to ensure that internal communication supports SRV's culture, values, brand, and designated development. You plan and implement communication efforts and ensure that messages are consistent and reach the right target groups. You provide advice and support in communication issues and change communication to both management and supervisors, helping to translate strategies and goals into understandable and target group-adapted language. You produce content in the form of text, images, and videos for the intranet, digital screens, and also graphic design for printed material. You participate in planning and executing internal events and workshops aimed at strengthening dialogue, engagement, and a good culture within the organization. The role also includes managing and further developing our intranet and other forums for communication and dialogue.

Is this you?

You have a university degree in communication and media studies or equivalent education. We expect you to have excellent communication skills, be able to express yourself well both in writing and verbally, and formulate clear and target group-adapted messages. You think strategically, have an easy time seeing the big picture, and understand how communication affects the organization in both the short and long term. Your digital competence is well developed, with good experience of modern tools and communication platforms. Additionally, you have a good ability to collaborate, show engagement, and build trust, which allows you to establish strong and sustainable relationships throughout the organization.

About SRV

SRV Recycling AB is a limited company owned by five municipalities in Södertörn: Huddinge, Haninge, Botkyrka, Salem, and Nynäshamn. The municipalities have tasked SRV with managing the collection and handling of household waste. The operations include the collection and processing of recyclable materials, fuel, and waste, as well as landfilling. We currently have about 270 employees and receive approximately 200,000 tons of waste each year, with a turnover of 552 million SEK (2023). SRV collects waste from about 154,000 households in the owner municipalities. The company also has 3,000 business and operational customers – ranging from small and large companies to housing associations, preschools, and organizations.

SRV Recycling has a large recycling facility at Gladö Kvarn in Huddinge. The facility is the largest in Sweden by area. We also operate seven recycling centers, primarily for households, within the five owner municipalities.

Application

The role is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement, preferably as soon as possible. You will be based at the headquarters, near Huddinge Centrum. Since our operations are spread throughout Södertörn, a driver's license is required. Application of alcohol and drug testing before employment may be applicable.
